It wouldn't be fixed, you could still spin the rod up and down. It would just be supported by two sets of threads instead of 1

I won't ask how much you weigh

I'm 162 - 165lb so, my stool is rated for that much at least

Other bigger guy on another forum is in the ~200lb region and it works well for him

Ah, gotcha. IMO would be tough to align them just so, so it still threads through, specially with all the heat potentially distorting it

Yeah you'd have to have the rod threaded into them to tack it

[Tell me you're don't weld without telling me you don't weld] :luvya:

It's already supported by two, one at the bottom inside the tube and one above the center tube as a locknut. That's two nuts the rod is threaded into.

But if you weld both nuts, you are 99% going to cause the rod to bind leaving you in a fixed position

Heat distorts, and with how thick the nuts are along with everything else, you really need to get it hot to burn it in properly

The rod will bind up with both nuts welded

As long as I don’t snap it in half I’ll let you know, so you can market it as tacotu3 rated

The table! It should be here Monday.

Then I’m probably committed to a couple of for hire projects, I’ve got most of their fence patched up and they want some gates with whatever artistic flair I can come up with. I’ve been collecting inspiration and pretty excited to give it a go!

Anyone on here with a first-gen (2004) Taco TRD Off-Road 4x4 with a 2" lift? I'm having a hell of a time finding bump stops that will accommodate the P10046-K - Toytec Lifts Rear 2" lift Leaf Springs. I need 4.25" bump stops, and the closest thing I can find is the . I find it hard to believe that this is a rare part to find for this gen/setup... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
