I just replaced the clockspring in my daughter’s 06 prerunner. There was this gray plug just hanging, plugged into nothing. Curious what it’s for.

I'm thinking for the Steering Angle Sensor which is only equipped on models with VSC but what are the wire colors?

Don’t know. I didn’t think to take note of them.

I helped my neighbor replace a clockspring on his son’s Prerunner a few months ago. The angle sensor connector is more squarish. But, I don't remember the others. If you don't have steering wheel controls for the radio, it could be for that.

It has steering wheel controls, but it does have an aftermarket radio, and I remember the guy having to buy a different part to make them work with it. Maybe it's the factory plug for that.
