Vintage Kegerator

This is my most recent project.

1950's Frigidaire fridge I plan on converting to a two tap kegerator. It's going through its test phase at the moment to make sure it gets, and stays, cold enough. This is a work in progress and will take me a while to get together.

Yeah, you're probably right about the energy use. Especially in the summer. It's an old beast. I've looked into the conversions. I really like the idea and don't think it'd be too difficult. Well, hopefully not too exoensive. That'll be down to road though.

 

We have two kegerators, one in the living room (Pecan Brown Ale), and one in the shop (hard cider). Getting a modern fridge to start with will pay for itself in energy savings in a few years.
