    Ah, so true. The only badges I haven't removed is the V6 and the tailgate stamp. If I ever get into an accident and have to replace the tailgate, I will procure an aftermarket tailgate without the "Tacoma" stamp.

    Thank you for all the information gentlemen.

    I have another question about the 2021 Tacoma TRD OR - did it originally come from the factory with a front anti skid plate? Mine seems to have one installed which is neat.

    Before we go any further, please go to the Toyota site and register as the owner and put in your VIN to see which features your truck was sold with. That will tell you a lot.

    By the way pictures would help a lot too.

    But to answer your skid plate question; if it has one of those silver looking aluminum TRD skid plates then that too was added by a previous owner. They come from the factory with a thin steel splash guard plate.

    Or the previous owner put on something completely different than what Toyota would have installed. Pictures needed.
