I had to dig up and destroy my Ouachita last year, for some reason it developed Orange Rust and I needed to remove it before it spread.

Our Blackberries other than native are triple crown. They do well for us. Blackberries are easy to clone by sticking the primocane in some soil. Been meaning to pick up some prime ark freedoms , but haven't yet. We did get some banana plants earlier this year and their growing nicely.

We've had an unusual amount of rain last 2 weeks. Our tomatoes are splitting badly. We are eating what we can. Still have 3 dozen jars of sauce left over from the last year, it will have to do.

On another note, does anyone think it will be an earlier and colder winter this year? We've seen a inordinate amount of really dark wooly worms, trees here are already dropping leaves (my older apple trees are almost bare, linden is starting to also). Australia is dealing with a lot of snow right now also.

We got 2 1/2" of rain last week. Our tomato's are splitting as well and the cantaloupes don't have any flavor. I planted some clover for the deer and I'm thankful it got some rain.

Looks like sweet gum. Those and a few poplars are showing color here. Probably more from the drought the last month. We have been getting steady rains the last few days.

The newest raspberries have a few fruits. Decent sized berry. They look like they will make it. Next year im just going to buy clusters and not separate them
