baja boss are HEAVY…. But they look and perform great. Well, the 285/75/16s are heavy.

But if you do want a good tire that’s also great for mpg, @Road_Warrior can suggest a good one.

Might take a look at the maxxis razr AT, I have Mickey Thompson ATZ tires (the previous version of the Baja ATs) and they're great tires but damn they've gotten SO expensive. When it comes time to change them out I'm going with these. Maxxis makes some great off road tires and about a 2/3rds the cost of Mickeys.

Yahh I run the Yokohama Geolandar AT4. Highly, highly recommend as an excellent all terrain tire.

I currently run the Falkan wild peaks now. Don’t notice much difference in mileage from highway tires on my 95 4wd. But….they get flat spots when sitting overnight in either hot or cold and it takes a couple miles to settle.

That’s interesting. I have the Wildpeaks and they’ve never flat spotted even after sitting for a week or 2.

I will say that they’re a little heavy for their size compared to the competition, but I haven’t noticed a fuel economy change coming from my previous K02s. If you want better economy, a thinner tire will help a bit.

These are my next tire for sure. I've put them on a few of our fleet trucks and are awesome. Quieter on road compared to the Copper Strongholds

Yeah I’ve had quite a few different tires on my Tacoma. All Terrains and Mud Terrains.

The Yoko AT4 is by far the best daily driver/adventure rig tire I’ve had. Hands down. I drive all over North America with these and never a single issue.

I used to run their mud tire and it was a fantastic tire. I’ve only heard good things about their AT too.
