My roof nest shell just started peeling like that too. Is that a spray in bed liner then?

Super easy install. Whole oil change and install took less than 20 mins. Only issue was the oil filter was spun on with the intensity of a thousand body builders.
Running Restore and protect 5w-30 for 1k and will see how it looks.

Today I removed the sway bar, removed a couple of unneeded brackets left over from the previous owner, pulled out a bunch of speaker wire from the previous owners subwoofer, installed my old light bar, ordered a few light harnesses and switches.

I'll be picking up some weather techs and cali raised brackets and a prinsu style roof rack this week. All facebook market scores

Little bit of this and that
Yep, bumper options for the early 2nd gens is kinda limited on decent looking options. This has been one of the considerations for doing a 2.5gen front swap.

Perfect day for it!IMG_0201.jpg Swapped out the 3rd gen leafs with 80k on them for fresh 2023 take off leafs. Also threw on the 1/2in blocks that were used on the 3rd gen trail editions (PT82A-35220-SS). Went from 22-22.25in hub to fender to 22.75in in the rear. 5100s replaced 3rd gen TRD OR Bilsteins. Think I should’ve sprung for 5160s instead of 5100s though. IMG_0204.jpg

Question. What shocks, or more importantly, what shock boots are those in the rear? I think mine are too short and constantly pull off even when driving on city streets.

Bilstein 5100s with the stock boots. You can remove the zip tie and adjust the boot.

You can get fancy and use a stainless oetiker clamp. Get a pair of end nipper pliers from Harbor Freight and dull down the cutting edge with a file, works the same as the specialty oetiker tool.
