Hi, I’m currently chasing a P0125 code in my ‘99 3.4. I’ve recently had the air compressor replaced and it wasn’t throwing a code before that, and I’m unsure what would be the cause of the issue. Light wasn’t on when I started the truck, I let it run for about 20 minutes then started driving and it was on. I’m trying to narrow the issue down a bit before I start replacing everything that could possibly be causing it.

Where does your temp gauge sit after warmup?

P0125 has nothing to do with coolant temp being too low on these...

It means the AFR/O2 sensor isn't responding properly.

If you look up the generic description for P0125 yes but Toyota uses P0125 for an AFR/O2 sensor fault on 1st gens.
    Right from the FSM

Im sure you know a lot more than myself. I was just quoting as you say the generic description. I will delete my post. I don’t want to mislead anyone.

No worries, Toyota is the only manufacturer I know of that doesn't follow the SAE standard for codes P0125 and P0128 in some cases so it can get confusing.

I'd recommend checking it first, you said it happened after the A/C compressor was replaced so the first thing I'd be looking for is if any wires got pinched/broken.
