I bought this 21 limited back in March and within a month the dealership had to put 2 AC compressors in. Now im out of the 30 day warranty, and I've noticed that it does not get as cold as it should. Drivers side left vent is moderately cool, but gets warmer the farther right you go. Hooked it up to gauges today and while running was pulling around 145psi on both low and high sides, and with the truck off they both immediately dropped to about 100psi so im thinking its the expansion valve? Does anyone have any other ideas of what it could be, or and tips/diagrams for finding the valve if you agree with my line of thinking?

Take it to a “real” AC person.

Something really screwy there, are you sure you had the valves closed on your gauges? No way you have 145psi on the low side with the system running.

Sounds real familiar. I just had the evaporator replaced.

Have you talked to the dealership about it not cooling?

Since this issue began while you were under a warranty, that dealership may do something for you since they had to replace 2 compressors.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Agreed, I’d try the dealership again. Why did they need to replace two compressors? Was there any metallic debris, and if so how did they address this? Sounds like there is more to the story with the dealership.
Also - isn’t there a 12 mo th warranty on parts like that from a dealer?

Truck had 50k miles on it when I bought it, and I'm assuming the person got rid of it because the AC system was doing this. I also believe the compressor wasn't working when I bought it, but it was a cool day so it was still pushing cold air and I hadn't notice the AC light wasn't staying on until a week later. They replaced it with a not OEM compressor which failed another week later and that time they replaced it with an OEM. I didn't notice if it's been having this issue the whole time or not because the driver's vents are cool and I don't often have a passenger. Once they mentioned the vents were blowing hot I started looking into it.

I was hoping to avoid the dealership since it's over an hour away and the last time I was there it took them about 7 hours to diagnose, get the new part, and replace it.

Dealers have a bad habit of throwing (expensive) parts at problems. There is very little diagnostic thinking going on here (ain't nobody got time for that! :)).
