    Good morning :hattip:

Had a band of strong T storms roll thru my area very early this morning . These strong storms also produced alot of localized flooding

Fun fact - (I did not know until a few weeks ago!)

The corn dog originated in OREGON!

If you had to guess a state where it came from, you'd assume somewhere in the South correct? At least I did.

Been married 54 yrs this month and when folks ask the secret to that success I tell them that you find a woman to fall in love with that is smarter than you are, nicer than you are, better looking than you are and more athletic than you are and then you treat her like gold........Worked for me.

Well since the ac is done I moved on to the furnace replacement. I've had good luck with goodman furnaces. I had them in 2 houses for 20 years. I have a 20 year old goodman in this house now. It's time to replace it. I found an 80,000 btu 80% efficient at HD plus for $879 delivered including tax. I will not buy one of those ultra high efficiency units that vent thru a pvc pipe, they have a lot of problems, too much technology.
So it's out with the old.
Only thing left to disconnect is the gas line, electric line, and the thermostat wire.

I cannot say I've ever been a fan of the Toyo Open Country A30 tires on my TRD Sport, to be honest, they weren't "bad" per-se, just unremarkable in any given area. Given my Tacoma is nearing the 30,000 mile mark and the remaining tread on the OEM rubber looks to have ten- to fifteen-thousand miles left before the wear-bars start showing (i.e. safe enough on dry pavement, but a tad dicey driving during a heavy downpour, much less snow), I decided it was time for some new skins; today I ordered a new set of 265/65 R17 Michelin Defender LTX M/s2 XL tires.

Cannot wait to say "bye-bye" to the Toyos.

30K on tires? That's when I rotate for the first time. I've had good luck with Michelins. Hope yours work out well. Since 2000 I've been putting Yokohama Geolanders on the trucks. Four trucks so far. First Gen Taco, Dodge Ram, GMC 3/4 ton, and now the '012. I just rotated them at 30K. I think they'll last another 30K easily. I had another '012 that I put some Patagonia tires on and those tires had some serious problems with developing flat spots as they were parked. Cold days I could drive them over five miles before they became round again.

Yeah, the Toyos have been rotated every 5,000 miles and they are already showing their age; not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Understood, the AT III tires are well regarded as an All Terrain tire, the A03 road tires, not so much. Given we now live in the concrete jungle area of the DC suburbs (as of about a year ago), the only time my Tacoma's tires see dirt is the couple times per year I drive to Michigan and visit my brother's farm (their driveway is a narrow, winding, and undulating dirt two-track affair) highway tires are the name of the game for me.
