taco 2022 key fob

    tacoma 2022, replace battery on key fob and now it doesnt work? and suggestions? tricks?

    Make sure you have it correct side up (positive + up)
    make sure to take off any protective plastic or paper film
    if that doesn't work try another
    just because it's new doesn't mean it's good

    thanks, new battery is good, checked, + up, was working till i changed the battery. unless fob went bad! changed old battery becuase was getting weak. any tips on reprogramming fob?

    Gently rub some steel wool on the contacts where the coin battery sits. My Fob contacts must have had some gunk because that’s what got my Fob working again.
