Our local Water company here in KY issues regular "Boil Water Advisory" alerts via social media and text messages at least 2x per week. For line breaks, ongoing maintenance, etc., all over the county. When we first moved here, we thought "WTF?? Is the water system that unreliable / bad here???" Our water company back in California never issues such alerts / advisories, but the local newspaper often had articles about contamination due to dead animals or other things falling into the open canals that made up a good portion of their fresh water supply. o_O

Montana Resources is the mining company here. God only knows what they accidentally pumped into the water lines - they use all kinda of caustic whit to refine the mining ore. Mom and dad are on a mission to get water jugs filled today at a near by camp. I'll be heading out of town tonight and plan on filling up the camper while I'm out. That gives us a 27 gallon reserve if they still dont have things flushed when I get back.

just a small plane. skidded off the city airport and hit another plane. Both passengers got out and then the plane burst into flames. Didn't know anything about it until my dad texted me and said it was on their news in Eastern Iowa. We have two airports, the bigger Glacier International and a city airport for cessnas and the like. This was the small city airport.

There's a small grass field close to West Glacier that has had two small plane crashes in the last month. 3 dead I think. Never hear anything about that field and then bam!!

    Good evening, gang.

The end of the work day couldn't get here fast enough today.

This could be a good shirt to wear for a TEAMS meeting.

My back is worn out from occupational wear and tear. Right side joint between hip and spine worn out, doctors say don’t do what aggravates it, like you know sure. I’m right handed, thus the problem, I try and use my left side. 68 years old, sure, I’ll start being left handed, I do try and put more pressure on the left side, walking, lifting, climbing stairs. By the way, they don’t make a pill for that, worn out hip , they do make a bunch of dope to mask the pain, but that has other consequences :rolleyes:o_O:cool:

Morning everyone :hattip:back from the North Woods, didn’t really catch much but had fun donating blood to the mosquitos. Weed mowing day, heading to Detroit tomorrow to see my kid. If all goes as planned, back up north on Tuesday :fingerscrossed:
