    09 Access Cab. The spring tensioner in my driver's seat belt is getting weak and I don't like the price tag on a new assembly and dont want to mess with the tensioner assembly since it has crash safety features.

    I long ago deleted the rear seats. Are the rear seatbelts the same part as the fronts?

    No, the front belts have pretensioners the rears do not.

    Have you checked with a company that rebuilds them like safety restore?
