Hey guys , recently took my truck in for inspection it failed because of the top center brake light not working, so I went out and bought a new one off eBay replaced it connected it and the brake light still doesn’t work. Like the one I had the cargo lights worked by the switch just not the middle brake light, checked all fuses I think, labeled stop, all look good, all other brake lights work, anyone know what the issue could be?

I assume you checked with a DVM or test light to see if there was power at the fixture?

I haven’t got that far yet, I thought since the cargo lights worked it was getting power, not to familiar with electrical

Brakes are likely a different circuit than a switched accessory

Would you happen to know if top center is different from rear brake lights they are both working.

"all look good" what does that mean?
You can't tell if a fuse is "good" by looking at it.
Suggest you check fuses with a voltage multimeter.
If you don't have one or know how to use, change all applicable fuses with brand new fresh ones of the same spec.

I just meant I pull the fuses out 10 amp and they didn’t seem to be blown like a fuse normally blows

Don't understand your poor English and what you're saying.
"I pull the fuses out 10 amp"
Does that mean you removed all fuses with 10A ?
"they didn’t seem to be blown like a fuse normally blows"
    What does that mean?
Just because the visible wire in the fuse seems intact doesn't mean it is working correctly.
Maybe carefully read my post #6
Just trying to help you but it's not easy with your communication usage in your posts.

Don't spend money on replacement parts until you know what is actually broken and how to fix it.

You can often "do it yourself cheaper" only if you know what do do.
    Don't understand what you've done.
Failed inspection because upper cab brake light doesn't work ?
Purchased and replaced old with "new" without knowing the reason for the original not working ?
First step should have been see if there is power to the old unit.
If there is then simply replace bulb(s).
If not start looking for power starting at the correct fuse.
Check fuse in proper manner and replace if necessary with a known good one.
