My lawn tractor sh*t the bed. Transmission is "melted" was the term they used. $1400 to replace. So not putting that much into a 9 year old piece of equipment as it's half the cost of a new one. Already put $700 into it in the spring with belts, tune up, new blades, carburetor, battery, etc.... Runs great, just won't drive.

Bought a self propelled Toro to replace it.

Anyone interested in parts or a 18.5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine? Looking to make a few bucks to offset the replacement cost.

Got that broken bolt out but I have a couple more broken bolts to deal with (support for bedside). I'll deal with those another day. Ordered a metric thread chaser set. Should be here later today.

Thread chaser set got delivered last night. Going to be chasing some threads for the bed rails, and putting anti-seize on the bolts.
Let's see what time I get done with work today.

I have a car in my bay that I sold 12 hours worth of work.

Going to stop by HF later today. They have a sale on drill bits (40% off) and I need to replace the broken ones I have. I also picked up a can of Kroil. Got it at O'Reilly's. Couldn't find it at first and come to find out, they keep it in the back because people would steal it. Let's hope that means it works really well. I've never used it.

Off to the Red Bulls game tonight with the kiddo and some friends.

 

Caught the end of it on my phone at the fair.

We're winning this thing!

 

Been cutting the grass weekly since Spring.
This time it's a week and a half.
Hopefully it'll be bi-weekly soon.

 

Weather permitting, I'm planning on taking the Chevrolet to the Goshen Fairgrounds tomorrow.
Never went to this one.
I'm going early and getting out before Swamp Azz settles in.
