Hello, Brand new Tacoma owner and first posting on here! Been reading a lot of the forums here on Tacoma World since I got one and just had a few questions for any fellow owners.

I got a 2017 Tacoma SR a couple months ago and have been doing some minor changes to it since but realized I do not have a fob. I haven't been able to get any clear answers as to what kind of fob/ key these came with. All I have is a master key and a valet key. Wanting to see if I can have a fob made if possible. Would be very nice to unlock the doors at the push of a button.

The second thing I was looking to do is buy backseats and seat belts. Not sure if I could just put boat style jump seats in with seat belts. Thought it sounded like a good idea but it also seems a bit unsafe. But if there is someone on here that has done a backseat delete to theirs that doesn't need them anymore, would be happy to take them off your hands or find a website that sells them.

I'm also curious if you can swap an OEM head unit for another OEM that has navigation and/or android auto. Not very keen to buying an aftermarket unit, have bought them in the past and was never really satisfied with them.

    Thanks for reading!

I know you are not keen on after market, My neighbor across the street got this for his 2018 and i have to say very cool.
All plug and play larger screen and is built into the dash, does not look like a Tesla after thought stick on screen, LOL
Look for a You Tube video on it.

I checked out the link you posted. That does look pretty good and the reviews are pretty good too. I put an aftermarket head unit like this in my old 2016 Corolla. Install was a breeze and so was set up. The only reason I didn't like it was because it would randomly disconnect from android auto, wireless or wired. That's the only part I'm not keen on. But I may end up going this route for the head unit. Thank you!

Here is a pic of it in a 2018. Comes with a new bezel to accommodate the larger screen.

I am fine with my 2016 entunes and i like being able to upload pic's to my screen.

You have an access cab? I took the rear seats out of mine, and there are a bunch of parts you'd need. Seats, seat back panel, seat belts, the trim piece where the rear seatbelts come out of the wall, etc. your best bet is to find someone taking the seats out of theirs and trade parts. I'm holding onto mine in case I need to return it to stock, but I'm worried I'll eventually forget how it goes together and lose some of the small parts.
