Just so yall know this ain't a TRD pro I just added stuff to it, but I posted before and after pics if anyone is wondering whether you can put 265s in place of the 245s on a gen 3 Taco. I also put a TRD pro skid plate on the front. Midas had a good deal on the Nitto Crosstek 2 tires by the way. When I get a little cash I may put the trd air cleaner and pipe on it but not sure. I already did that to my Harley so i figured why not do it to my truck and add one of those tuners like I have on my bike. I don't off road or anything, I'm in Florida ain't no hills here. Not gonna get into even trying to make this a 4x4.

265 A/T tires is what Toyota should have put on all Tacos in the first place. Looks sooooo much better. Just curious why you added a heavy skid plate if your not planning on off roading?

As far as that TRD Pro on the side of your doors, I find it tacky, but that's just me. Maybe if you remove the Tacoma emblems underneath, might make it a little less tacky!

If tire diameter is the same you can absolutely swap to 265s from 245s. I will note that I purposefully run 245s on my 2wd work truck though because since it doesn't need to go offroad seriously the thinner and lighter tire absolutely performs better for on-road driving than the 265s my personal truck and my boss' truck came from the factory with.

But since I just put 255/85R16s on my personal truck, I will also admit I am biased towards tires looking taller vs. wider for appearance too.

I added the skid plate because it just looks better ha ha! With my Harley I got bored and just kept upgrading it. Now gonna do the same with my Taco.

For sure the tires are what this truck should have. As for the emblem honestly, I bought the truck like that. Guy who owned it before put that on. It's not in the pics but it has a red and black interior. Looks badass.

The new tires definitely look beefier!

...also 2wd in FL. They make other toys for the mud here.
