I have a 2019 Sport 4x4, bought and am installing an Icon Stage 6 suspension. I got up to installing the new coil over rez shocks and tried to install the billet UCA before mounting the rez fixture to the sway bar and cannot get in on to the mount because the distance between the two delta joints inner (smaller) bushings is about an 1/8th" under from the distance of the control arm mount. I called Icon with constant wait time and hang ups, finally called CS and the guy told me to loosen up the delta joint and move it. Now I never was any good at math, but if you move one of two parallel objects with pivots they will still have the same distance. So like a dummy I did what the Icon rep said and sure enough, the UCA still will not slip in to the mount because of that distance between the delta bushings.

I saw a thread on another Tacoma site with the same issue 5 years ago and no one replied so does anyone know the fix, like get the bushing machined a 1/16th, because Icon CS is lacking to say the least. Any help appreciated.

Have you tried loosening the pinch bolts?

I think I would keep everything a bit loose, start one end, & use a pry bar if needed. It's either going to be a tight fit or the parts are incorrect.

I loosened the pinch bolts and moved the delta joint, its still the same distance, the delta joints moves or pivots the wheels position only.

I'm not an expert, but all the suspension work I've ever seen done required some degree of force (prying).

Are there any install videos available?

Also, you might try posting in the Suspension forum where your likely to receive a better informed response.

Got it finally, loosen both delta joints, grow two extra arms, and drive the UCA long bolt in (from the engine compartment), luckily i had it lined up for the bolt to go clean through.
