I put some on this spring and I really like them so far. Very good in snow and rain, good on gravel, fine on pavement even at highway speeds.

Did the same when supercharger went on, of course that's a low pressure area so no air can get it, but I can see heat rising when the truck is off.

Sound is completely different than the axle dump. Same mbrp muffler, its loud with the windows down and fine with windows up

Took care of the squeaky OME leaf springs today, generally do this twice a year, little jack up on the rear bumper and a pry bar allows me to put grease on every leaf insulator pad, noticed one on the drivers side is nearly gone (Maybe extra gas tank weight?) gonna buy a new set today.

    good eye!
its parked part way on a rolled curb, so it bulges out a bit. That said, my teenager sometimes (often) smashes the curb with the right side. Last week, I had a low air pressure in that tire (26psi) and so i aired it up to 31.

I saw the rolled curb after I posted the message. But it still looked like the tire was low LOL.

Thanks. Yes, that's what I was looking for in the rainy PNW. An highway orientated A/T. 3PMS rated was important too. Good wet and snow traction was very important. I was tempted with more of an off road A/T but crap drivers here so you need all the advantages you can get. The more robust off road A/T's give up some on-road traction for good off road attributes such as side wall & puncture resistance. But weight really ramps up with "C" & "E" load A/T tires. Spent a lot of time researching.

Worn tires are an issue as well. My current Toyo AT3's are down to 4/32nd's. Need replacing before winter.

Replaced brake pads and rotors, cleaned up calipers, and replaced rubber boot on caliper pistons (preventative maintenance... calipers are 5 years old and trying to avoid rusted piston due to caliper boot rip). I clean and regrease the caliper pins every now and then..... but should have just bought new ones.

Been chasing a whining noise from the rear of the truck for about 3 months and finally got it fixed. Turned out to be the rear passenger wheel bearing. Rather than buy the special jig need to remove the bearing and probably a new, bigger press and with no local shops other than the dealer willing to take on the job I took a chance on a used axle for ebay. If I can get even just 2 or 3 years out of it, I'll be a happy camper.

Removed all three bed rails. Chased the threads and put anti-seize on the entire length of the bolts during reassembly.
Removed both bins and chased those holes. One bolt broke so I'll deal with it at work. Also chased the holes and put anti-seize on the bolts.

Installed T-nut's for bed bars which I'll be installing soon.

    Gotta love the rust belt.

New Dickies Vegan seat covers. They fit pretty good and feel like rich, Corinthian leather.

$60 at O'Reilly's or Walmart. I really need seat covers, I'll get my $60 worth out of them
