IDK whats it's connected to at this point, but it turns off the Auxbeam after about 10-20 seconds.

Attached are two files that might interest you.
The first is a listing of the fuses and what they power. Some do not "power" what they say, they just supply sense voltage to let it be known they are on.
The second shows the fuses wiring and associated relays; Blue shaded fuses are the under the hood fuse box, gray shaded are fuses in the cab.

You state in your post the device you are hooking up only requires a small amount of current, i.e. a voltage sense. Any of the fuses you say you do not want to use will be OK. Don't worry about it, but I know you will.

EDIT: Page 2 of the Power Source should be of particular interest showing the 4 fuses that come after the two relays. When you plug in one of the share-a-fuse adapters you are taking power off before the fuse to whatever you choose. No harm, no foul.

The "EFI No 3" fuse cycles power on in V6 models per the info I referenced above.

Use the "INJ" slot if you want it stay off when the truck is off.

This 0 Ohm fuse you found is removed while shipping the vehicle and shuts down most of the battery draw. It disables most of the unneeded features.

That was me. There is a fuse labeled IGN in my main fuse block. I'll take a picture when I get home from work. It's in a row furthest toward the centerline and I use it to power on/off my d-switch.

The fuse I use may be the IJN. I can't remember right now.

    That's the one I used. I think it's "INJ"

I did use the INJ fuse that is next to the #3 fuse.

On the fuse block, I used INJ for control on/off and the headlight (HDLT I think?) fuse for night dimming of the control panel backlight.
