I remember my '84 Ranger came with 13" rims on it. Stock Steelies. Even the upgraded aluminum wheels were still 13 inches. When I bought a 2000 Nissan Xterra with 265/70-R15 tires, I thought I was really wearing some big shoes! Then when I upgraded to 75 series I damn near lost my mind.

You can probably make 235/75/15's fit. But you might find 225/75/15's work better. The bigger you go, the more power you lose.

    Thanks Marshall
The closest tire to 70 series is 75 which are easier to find.I was worried about the clearance. My mileage on stock is way better than I expected but it is a 2.7 ltr.I will probably go with 215 75 15 0r 225 75 15
    Thanks again.
