I had to find a place to put this thing...

This 77 Buick has been in the shed for about 20 years. It was pretty content sitting there.




I chained it to the trailer and used 4 low to move it out.



Since this car has no brakes and the drive shaft is out it will roll quite easily, I had 10 straps on it when on the trailer.

With a rope, pulley and the old Ford I eased it into the tight confines of the shed.



Then reverse the process to pull the Buick on the trailer.

 

Did he call them back, and that's when he got "cursed out"?

It's really not worth reporting them anymore.

Most of the time the reported number you see isn't genuine. They're using someone else's number.

For a few months, my number was randomly listed as spam.

My brother also got one of those victims randomly calling him in the middle of his day, demanding to know what my brother called him about and then threatening him with all sorts of twisted and horrific things he'll do to my brother if he ever finds him...

So now my brother has randomly found himself on the end of a death warrant over someone else using his number to harass people.

Please just spread the word that there's far more victims to the robo calling problem than just the initial caller. Because if I ever find the man that threatened my brother over a wrong number, no one will be finding him very soon. And cascades of death warrants is really no way to live.

At least just tell your buddy to stop calling them back.

At the least, it's giving the spammers a way to verify the number is genuine.

At the most, it's adding a massive level of frustration and anger to the days of entirely unrelated people who have had their number used without their consent to harass other people, which just makes for even more angry people in the world.

 

Very nice, but from the side I still have trouble telling which direction the car is facing...

 

Now what are you going to do with the Buick?

I survived the charity baseball tourney over the weekend but my back is reminding me currently at 0221 that I am no longer 18 years old.

@RustyGreen , does the new to you LTD have a power bench seat? In my high school days, I had a 72 or 73 LTD with a powered bench seat. It was like driving around in a living room couch .

Oh, I'm gonna try, but it's pretty broken up. The unit is from 1999 and the coil is pretty rusted out. Its lived its life...

I have plenty of window shaker units, but turns out the replacement windows they installed at some point don't open very far. A friend has one that is shorter and I can grab another one on Amazon. My room can fit the nicer one I have since the window is larger. I've been planning for an AC failure since buying this place when I opened the cover of the unit and seen how rusty it is. Added additional circuits to accommodate as such.

If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna get the AC with heat pump. No heat strips since I'll still have the oil boiler, but per month cost would be lower to run that strait oil. Got to figure out my options after the AC season is over.

 

Clean it up a bit and for sale.

 

This one doesn't, one of the 65's I have does though.

Forget the tail lights, what were they pulling with it?

 

Apparently the original owner pulled a large boat. It has a limited slip rear along with an old style hydraulic/electric brake controller. The hitch is welded to the frame.

You used to be able to do that with cars. My chevelle malibu had a receiver on it when i got it. Guy towed a car trailer with another vehicle on it

 

I remember those brake controllers that tied into the brake lines. Dad had a couple vehicles with them
