Front lefted blinker isn't working, back left is blinking fast but I know it just because the front one isnt working rn, bulb was burnt so I change it but still nothing. Fuse looked fine still change it nothin. I use a Volt reader, it read 0.1 with the hazards on (idk fully how to use a volt reader tho)

    Any idea on it?

Dumb question but they’re not LED bulb correct? LED will cause hyper flash

Hey there man! Welcome to the Tacoma World forum! I had this same issue with my truck, pull out all of the signal lights and even the brake light assembly, unplug it, then scrub the contacts with 91% isopropyl alcohol and a wire brush. They sometimes get dirty.

Could also be broken wiring, inspect the assembly.

Put you meter on the 12v or 20v DC setting. (Which ever one you meter has)
Then put the red lead of the meter on the terminal of the connector that had the Green/Black wire.
And the Black lead of the meter to the terminal that has the White/Black wire.

Turn on the flasher and see if your meter bounces from 12v to 0v.

    ^ Yes^

Also check the connector on the wiring harness. There should be an ordinary plug within 10-12 inches of the bulb assembly. That could also be fouled so unplug it and make sure the pin fitment is clean and snug.

You could also have a broken or chaffed wire. There are only two wires that go to a turn signal bulb. 12V power and ground. They should be in a protective loom. But there are often exposed spots around the connector and bulb itself that can get worn if they have been rubbing on metal all these years.

Look down in the bulb socket and see if the contacts are melted or burned

Sometimes you can swap just the socket side to side and see if the problem follows

It could be low on blinker fluid.

Ok update, its simply just not there.

I thought the bulb that is in the same housing was also doing the blinker, its not until I took off the working side blinker housing I figured out what happened,

Photo attached is the wire I found

Yeah common 1st gen issue. Be sure to flush with Red Line low viscosity blinker fluid every 5000 miles, keeps the soy-based wires from decaying like OP's case.

Genuinely tho, how do people get water in their headlights? I've never had this problem and I live in an area with quite a bit of rain

Skid plates like all first gens are prone to rust so wouldn't be surprised lol.
