A bowling ball with no finger holes? Is that a new or old thing in bowling?

 

I wondered the same thing when I found out. It's candle pin bowling, never heard of it until Mike told us.

 

When I was young if you saw someone walking along alone and having an animated conversation they were either:
1) old
2) off
3) in the bag
4) any combination of the above

Now they are just on the stupid phone - and not paying attention to surroundings.

Filter installed May 17th. Apparently my well picks up some pretty gnarly sediment. I was expecting iron, not sludge. Now, this was one of those fancy carbon block filters, so it plugged quick. I installed just a regular pleated. Will need to upgrade to the 20" housing they offer.

 

You can always tell the difference by asking if it’s 10 Pin….

 

In your pic I didn't notice how much smaller the balls are.

Wiki says it's primarily played in the cold great white northern regions of the US and Canada. I wonder how much of an impact that had on the size of the balls...
