I highly recommend these folks. They are in Claysburg, PA 16625 so not too far from you.

This is the model, on sale right now too!

    upload_2025-8-20_11-28-22.png

I picked the trailer up last year on the way to Missouri to get a car. Everything was ready to go when I pulled in and the trailer has performed perfectly. I have over 6000 miles on it so far, not even a loose bolt.

It is very light and only cuts the fuel mileage 2-3 mpg when empty.
The ramps slide right in for storage.
I have had full size 60's Fords and my 5200 pound van on, all have towed very well.

The owner/builder is second generation, the business has been building trailers sinice 1976, he is a genuinely good honest guy.

To bad you're not closer, I'd give you a rubber linesman ground mat [failed in testing] to use. Never found anything better and if you place it under something in the bed of your truck, it'll stay right there.

Okay I settled part of this question. I bought this tank last night. I think I’ll build a pallet with similar dimensions of the tank and bolt it down.

    IMG_7593.jpg

The next part will be what to put in it, on or off road fuel. I know the CoOp sells off road. But in my search for the tank, I found a couple people advertising bulk on road diesel for the same price as the CoOp off road diesel. I like @six5crèéd point of using on road diesel so I can fill the truck too, but I’m not sure if it’s a gimmick or what. :notsure:

EDIT: forgot to include the FB link

If you have an off road fuel card most places will let you use green fuel. Not everyone has a dedicated pump for dyed fuel. Then when you use it for your truck it’ll be green and any dipper will be dipped.

Also, get some channel iron and weld fork slots on the bottom of the tank. That pallet will get beat up with 800 pounds on it and bonus they’ll keep it off the ground. Get a fill rite pump with a filter and you’re in

I also got some tractor time in today, my neighbor got his hands on a tractor with an articulating brush trimmer. He used it to cut back the trees along our driveway. I was able to use the forks to pile up the branches. It times like this I really wished I had a grappler on the front of my tractor.

    The action video...

    IMG_7597.jpg

Looks much better, will certainly be easier to mow that strip of grass. At least for a few years.
    IMG_7608.jpg

The brush trimmer found the edge of an old tarp buried in the woods. No idea how it got there, but it's been there for many years.
    IMG_7599.jpg

I tried pulling it out by hand, but there was more than one tarp wired together.
    IMG_7600.jpg

So I dug at it with the forks.
    IMG_7602.jpg

And success, but boy was that stuck in there!
    IMG_7606.jpg

There were four large tarps put together with wire at the eyelets. There was several inches of dirt and debris on top, and even some saplings growing through the material. I really can't fathom why someone would put that there. :boom:
    IMG_7607.jpg

It'll be sooo much easier to mow the tree line side of the drive now. It's been about 5 years since we last trimmed the trees. I should have taken a before pic, but mowing that side meant moving my body way over to the side and letting the tractor push through the branches.
    IMG_7598.jpg

:worthless: so I made sure to include a bunch for those who can't remember their phones... :hattip:

Went by and picked up 7 more totes for free-fiddy yesterday from a buddy who owns a mulch company, these had die in them. Got to take the bladders out so I can put firewood in them like the ones in front of the truck. These bring me up to 22 :anonymous:

Found this in my toolbox yesterday and remembered why I bought a Craftsman air compressor, I also had a $100 gift card for Lowe's at the time. I've had it almost 3 years.
