I have a holster by Urban Carry, custom for the G17 with light that extends beyond the end of the gun. I have both a IWB and an OWB carry. I have several Urban Carry holsters. Awesome holster, great fit. Made for most pistols whether they have light or not

Went to a couple gun shows this weekend, got a hundred rounds of my favorite hunting ammo (Hornady 150gr SSTs in 308) for $28 a box, normally $10 higher elsewhere. Also picked up a box of Fort Scott TUI 458 SOCOM ammo to try. At the second show, there was a non-dealer selling a Glock 40 MOS with a Recover brace and a Holosun SCS, and I had to have it, no paperwork/tax. Went back the next day and picked up a really nice Kershaw OTF knife.

I've got one just like that except it's a 32-Long with a 1" barrel. It was dad's truck gun when he worked in the oil fields of East Texas in the 1980's. Back then there was no electronic payment methods and no cell phones (he did have a spotty company radio). So to get things done the company gave him between $3,000 and $5,000 cash to carry in the truck. That's $10,000 to $15,000 in today's money. Firearms were against company policy, of course, but so was getting robbed and shot for the slush fund in your truck and at the time the oilfield was largely populated with ex-con's and felons willing to do hard labor and stay away from society. Pick your poison.

I still have the original bill of sale when dad bought that revolver. It was $62 after tax on June 18th, 1986.

Bought a Glock 48 this weekend. Compare it in stock form vs my 43x with ram Jet and GS duty trigger. The 43x def shoots better. But I do like how 48 shoots. Went to range for a while and planked on some steel.

Found a Hammerli B1 at a LGS for a good price & had been looking for a cheap NRL22 style rifle. Paired it with a Sig SPR 6-24x52, now I just need to find the time to go put some rounds through it.

Yeah, a straight pull action similar to the russian Izmash biathlon rifles.

.22lr platform is the move - cheap to shoot, versatile. I'd really like a Ruger 10/22 Takedown

Updated my CCW permit and then went and got this.

And then by dinner I had turned it into this.

Still got suppressor height sights, CHPWS plate, and Holosun 507C to install. Holster should be here in about 3 weeks.
Also had 2K rounds of 124gr Blazer Brass and 500 rounds 124gr +P gold dot show up today.

That PC BG 2.0 is probably going to be my next firearms purchase. I carry the original BG often, I really like the idea of nearly doubling my ammo capacity with better sights to boot!

I haven’t put my hands on the new bodyguard yet, looks interesting, definitely appears to be a step up from the OG bodyguard. The new Shield X that they released also seems like it should be a winner.

I've got the BG 2.0, feels great in the hand. If you want to actually put in it your pocket then get it but if not then I'd get something else.

I've handled the BG 2.0 in the GS, and I liked it a lot. I couldn't decide between the regular and the PC versions of the gun, but after watching several reviews on YT. I don't think an extra 3/8" on the barrel is going to bother me much. I haven't pull the trigger on the purchase already, due to more important financial needs at the moment than replacing an existing BG carry gun. I'm also hoping S&W will have another rebate going when I'm ready to make the purchase.:fingerscrossed:

Yeah this would be a pocket gun for me. Just replacing the original BG I bought years ago. I carry a Shield Plus PC 9 when concealment is less of an issue.

I carry the M&P 9c (concealed) or the M&P Full sized duty with the longer barrel (open). Absolutely LOVE them. But if I had shot the wife's Body Guard (the original 1.0) I would have probably just stuck with it. I can't imagine how much better they are now. Great little pistol! Sold it to a buddy who needed something during the Human Malware Virus of 2019 / 2020. He was driving cross country to go take care of aging parents who were cut off because we were all grounded to our homes. No regrets there. Great gun went to a great friend for a great reason.
