Usually an option if you own it outright. Else, you have a third party with a vested interest in it being repaired properly.

I installed a new Stainless steel overflow tank (next to the air box) to get rid of the plastic one. I’m just about done, I just need to install the new intake manifold I reinforced w/ fiberglass and painted “Wrinkled Black” w/ the fuel rails. I then need to detail the engine bay with touch up paint on all the places we scratched doing the swap. For anyone wondering it’s a refreshed GM LS L33 HO aluminum block 5.3 w/ a truck cam. In trying to keep it quiet we installed high flow cast iron exhaust manifolds, TWO in a series the largest mufflers Magnaflow makes w/ a 3” hidden turn down in the stock location. All back up w/ a twin clutch, a wide ratio Tremec TKX, pushing 3.73 Gear w/ a TrueTrec and 275/45-19’s P7 rubber, mounted on 19x9 semi forged Enkei’s. To make sure this all sticks to the ground we installed a set of low pro CalTracs. This setup pushes a 07 reg. cab 5 lug pretty good. The truck chassis now has 37k original miles. Oh, and to slow it down it has a set of two piece StopTech’s w/ 255/45-19 P7’s.

Did the body shop provide a written (itemized?) estimate for the work before your approval to proceed? Insurance companies have their preferred providers, though you are free to get other opinions before treatment.

Black box removed today and tidied up the liners, pretty happy with how clean it came out. All to prepare the 5 lug for some 32s as the wheels arrived today.

Lift, new front brakes, new rotors all getting put on next week!

Got a used DC fridge for free from a friend, broken screen and missing wire but it works! 10 bucks for a new cord, routed through the cab into the bed to my house battery fuse box and it's all ready for this weekend up at Acadia National Park. Was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to route everything with a very short run and no drilling or cutting, shoutout Toyota.

Did this yesterday. Installed a cheap head unit. Nothing fancy but way better considering i got android auto. It doesn't have any jitter or anything and is way more helpful than the factory head unit which was starting to malfunction. Was easy with a premade harness.

The trucks steering was making a low hum when turning the wheel. This is what I found lol!

Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and Outside Temperature Display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) MSRP: $27,885 Retail Price As Equipped: $31,845
I installed the Uni-Filter and saved the round front cover that is removed and where the new Uni-Filter goes. I also saved the foam piece you remove. I replaced the original large round cover that goes on the top of the pump and it fits perfectly around the new filter. The new Uni-Filter replaces it perfectly: it's almost the exact same size as the original cover that is removed.

No more worries about the pump swallowing that foam piece and ruining the whole expensive works and related pipe gizmos downstream. (which are also probably NLA for the 2nd gen now)

Black Walnuts. I saw it earlier this afternoon. Had a brief laugh, then scowled because of the little tree rat shitheads using your truck for storage. And then I had another laugh because they won't do that around here. Not with a squirrelinator in the backyard.

Nice! Btw, what size are your tires and did you have to do anything to keep them from rubbing?

33s, about 2 in lift, removed some plastic and added 3/4in spacers. Have a tiny amount of rub at full turn when suspension is funny compressed but I can live with it.
