What is the part number or name of the foam pad you take off during spark plug change?

    What is the name of the foam part that you take off/push to the side when changing the spark plugs on one side of a 3rd gen V6? I think it's purpose is to block heat or act as a firewall. Here's a picture: https://imgur.com/a/xVR9LdW

    My understanding is they are just to muffle the valve noise a bit. Mine are crumbling on my 2022. A bit pricey for a piece of foam especially if they need to be replaced every couple of years.....
