    Good morning brothers and sisters. I got my hands on a 2008 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 V6 4.0L six speed manual transmission full cab with 198900 miles. I can use some assistance, and guidance from many of you that are more experienced, and have more information to spread. As I learn from many of you I can pass on and share what I receive. Are there any recommendations, or must do’s I should apply?

    But I'll ask you one. Has the truck lived in salt country? If yes, have you inspected the frame thoroughly?

    I got the truck here in NC from a private seller so for sometime the truck has lived in this salt state. I have the run a carfax that has not yet been done on my end. And the frame has this black coating through the whole frame but under the coating there is slight rust.
