Battery was dead in my Tacoma this morning. Realized when my key would not go in the ignition that it was in the forward position. Not sure how that happened, somehow I pulled the key from the ignition before it was in the off position on Thursday Battery was 5.5 years old . Got me a new DieHard Platinum. $280

 

Don’t give up. Took me a couple of tries, but it’s been great since I met my wife. Several rough patches along the way tho.

Import shrimp. It still amazes me how much shrimp, crawfish, crabs, catfish and other native species are imported. It’s just DUMPED in our markets. A 1# bag of peeled crawfish is $5 (foreign, labeled ‘Boudreaux’s’), versus $15-17 for actual local brands. In Louisiana it’s REQUIRED that all seafood at restaurants state the source. They will even randomly DNA test and fine the shit out of you for lying. (Actually agree with this one). It’s sad that local shrimpers get paid near or under $1# but you and I get charged $5-$10-$20#

 

But New Orleans, right?
