@gixxerphil s second seat came in on Wednesday. Today was fitment and adjustment was time consuming. But it fits good.IMG_20250823_160246570_HDR.jpg IMG_20250823_160305958_HDR.jpg

I don’t think 33s will fit that bike.

Finally got my fat bar on. My old bars were a tad shorter and a bit more narrow then these. Plus ya know bent lol.

These sit at a height in more comfortable with and a tad wider helps as well.

Thats the model that confused their entire naming scheme.. usually F series is a parallel twin, but that is a single cylinder rotax engine that'll last forever. Long travel suspension, 21/17 wheels, I think almost a 5 gallon tank, and around 400lbs. They're sleeper medium weight ADV bikes, perfect little BDR machines. Younger sibling to the F800GS I have.

Question for you gents. Im need of new tires for my ktm 890 what brand of tires are you guys liking? I don't ride that bike hard its more of a touring bike than anything. I've always ran Diablo corsa on my cbr1000rr. Im looking for more of a good all season tire and some suggestions

I've used Pirelli Angel STs on my FZ1 and currently on my Triple. Seem to be wearing well and have given me all the grip I need in dry and rain. Not sure about mileage (sold the FZ1 shortly after I put them on) but they seem to be wearing well on the Triple!

I'm a big Michelin fan. Using the PR4GT on both FJR1300s currently. Been getting close to 13k out of them and on one bike much of that is 2 up. Not sure if the 4 is still readily available and a lot of folks are on the 6 now. When I bought my 2013 it had the Road 6 on it. Handling and wet roads it was a great tire but the price difference over the 4 was pretty high and tire life was slightly less but previous owner may have put more miles on them than what he told me.

Wow, that is a nice wearing tire! I just had to order a replacement for my Shinko after a measly 3k on my lightweight, light power DRZ...

I'm sure the price difference is quite high but only having to change them 1/4 as often would be well worth it!

I change my own which helps tremendously. I keep a spreadsheet for vehicle maintenance so that helps a lot with knowing real numbers instead of relying on memory.

Tire changing is expensive for calling shops.

I also keep excel spreadhseets for my bikes. Miles/hours/dates and even pricing/vendor. Nice to see how long it lasts and how much prices have gone up

I've also had it help a lot after an accident. I had records if all mods and pricing for them.

So far I am liking it. Did about 20 miles last night after I unloaded it off of the trailer. Totally different weight distribution than what I am used to, much lower.
