Morning DE

 

Good morning Delaware + Friends.

Set up the coffee maker and waiting to pour my first cup.

I fell asleep on the couch watching the Dodger game last night...they lost 5-1--No bats came out!

Hopefully, the Dodgers can salvage a game this afternoon and avoid a sweep.

Just need to finish off packing my suitcase and check in 24hrs before tomorrow's flight.

I need to wash wife's car...I parked under a tree yesterday and within 20 minutes, (amount of time in the Herbal place) the birds put their mark on her car! lol

I may just wash my truck too...removing the bed mat as always when I do long-term parking at the airport.

Hey RW, Hey Eric!

Finished washing wife's car...even cleaned the windows with this...



I have not checked the Tire Pressure in a bit even though the warning hasn't popped up.

All TP was at 33 and needed to be at 36...took care of that as well as driving on Hwy 1 to air out the water collection points in the cracks/crevices of the car.

Still have to check in to my flight but now will have some breakfast and finish folding some laundry and tidy up my suitcase for completion.

Maybe when it's cooler later this evening, I'll wash my truck.

I had just enough shade from our neighbor's house when I washed my wife's car earlier...now, the sun is just out!

We’ve got too much to do today for me to do anything I want lol.

It’s the pups birthday today too. Getting groceries now, gotta get puppy a cupcake, then some farm veggies, random other stores, a sliding door for our tub came in at Home Depot.

 

Geez I’m tired just from reading about all your guys’ errands

Sounds like a busy and productive weekend all around!

 

Yesterday was a lazy day. This week is also busy. Got an event past Trenton tomorrow that goes till 430. That’s gonna be a great drive home

 

Hey you guys...yeah, pretty much busy but all tasks are "must do's" before my departure.

At least, this is my thought process as I prepare to be away for the coming work-week.

That weekend I return is Labor Day Monday...so I have an extra day to relax when I return from Charleston.

I'm looking forward to the Dodgers coming to town the following Saturday/Sept 6 at Camden Yards.

 

Oh man that sounds rough. You taking the truck or the Camry?

 

I don't know how you do it, Eric.

Lots of rest, I take it...or will-power!

Probably the latter. lol

 

Welp,

Back from a southern drive in Delaware tour...first, Seaford...I saw a boardwalk on the map and thought, let's try there.

Turns out, it wasn't what I expected...we had gone to Milford on Saturday which had a decent little boardwalk.

Drove through some back roads from west Delaware to the east looking for Nassau Winery...wife was hungry so we ended up in Lewes...Touch of Italy.

I thought driving up North to Wilmington would of taken too long...little did I know, just because there were less miles to travel does not mean it would be a quick jaunt.

Lots of small towns with 25 mph speed limits and light signals that took forever because of crossing the Hwy13/113.

Anyhow, finished packing and have traveling clothes set out...it's 7:27pm and I'm contemplating washing my truck. lol

I had to watch the last inning of the Dodger game when I got home...it was 7-2 last I checked my phone...when I turned on the TV, Ohtani hit his 45th HR to make it 8-2.

It's been a fast-track weekend...with a busy workweek before hand...but I made it through!

I think my cutoff time for washing my truck is like 3pm. I never consider starting after that lol

Travel Day

Morning ritual except today, I'll be leaving at 7:30am instead of 6:30am.

I'm giving myself 2hrs to get to PHL and arrive to Airport Parking by 9:30am.

Departure is just before noon.
