    Replaced Right front wheel bearing.
Cleaned the interior - kids destroyed it.
Washed and polished truck - got rid of the pin stripping from my last adventure.
Lowered the soft topper to change up the look.

just because i figured a magnet plug would be nice at this oil change, the original plug still works perfectly and i just used it again. its a 4.0 v6 2009 tacoma sport. this size is supposed to fit but maybe they dropped the wrong plug in the bag? it is the same diameter it just has course threads

I think it was an inch or inch and a half. He has a jig he made what trims it easily.

    +2 along with @Williston.

I’ve actually been doing some data logging with the stock intake on my 1GR-FE. At a steady 65 mph, my IATs average about 10 degrees over ambient, based on a week’s worth of daily driving to and from work. After that, I covered the entire bottom of the stock airbox with Design Engineering’s Cool Tape. With another week of logging, I saw IATs drop by about 3 degrees, averaging just 7 degrees over ambient.

Not a massive change, but every little bit helps on an NA engine. What it really shows is that the stock setup is basically a cold air intake already, and Toyota’s engineers did an excellent job designing it. There is very little, if anything, you can improve upon. I was just curious if I could lower IATs since the airbox sits directly over the right-side exhaust manifold and valve cover. Aftermarket intakes mess with your MAF scaling more than most people realize, which in turn makes the ECU compensate more. Ask me how I know, I’ve been there. I love the sound, but for our trucks it’s best to leave it stock.
