Upstate NY fishermen, what is this fish?

about the size of my hand. We were catching bass and sunnies then these guys showed up. This is the Lake George region of NY, we’re on one of the rivers leading to the lake.

Hey me too, trying to figure out how to package everything. The panels are going to be mounted below flush of the rack.

Theres another 100W panel in the barn.

My kid went to a show in Southern CT last night. Got out of the show and had a flat.
Chivalry is not dead. Some guys changed it before AAA even got there.
Then she hits a pothole on the donut.
    Yup.
1:30 am I do the 1.5hr drive, pick her up get the car towed to a tire center.

    home at 4:45.

11am still no call from the tire center??

I call them and describe the car
"Oh, we didn't get a key and the car is locked"

AAA had me fill out a drop envelope for the key w all my info. I really found it odd that a AAA driver would forget to drop the key..

So I ask the woman "is there anyplace else someone might drop it?"
    Nope. One drop slot
    "Did you look around?"

    yup it's not here.

So I commence a 2hr phone tag with different AAA offices...they can't locate the driver but when they do they'll update us.

So now we have to drive to Manchester CT
And of course the traffic is insane. 1.5hr drive takes almost 2.5hrs.

Get to the place and her car is locked.
I go to the desk and explain we're the no keys car that needs a tire. Not sure what AAA did...

Wife walks to the bay and literally right on the floor 1 foot from the drop box is the envelope with the key. You can see it from the desk.

Tire clerk is perplexed...he must have shoved it there...that's why they couldn't find it.

    0.2% effort there.

returning home in the traffic the other way.

WTF is everyone going? Pike is gridlocked everywhere.
Now I have to track down a replacement donut.
    don't dunk this donut

My wife was like "don't be mad at her. (I wasn't I'm a night owl)"
Her dad was a jerk to her once when she called for help and it forever changed her perception of him from someone who helps out to someone who is inconvenienced by a cry for help.

That sucks, especially the idiot at the tire shop. What kind of car is it? Is there anyway to fit a full size spare in it for the next time?

I don't know who needs to hear this but I did today.

The string lights from HF are on sale for 1/3 off, and the whole shebang fits perfectly in one of the large ammo boxes they stock on the shelf.

    upload_2025-8-26_12-25-42.jpg

And secondly, ammo boxes make for great truck fridge organization.
