Stretched timing chain?

    Going to be resealing my timing chain cover to fix a leak next weekend, does this look like my timing chain is stretched? My plan is to replace the chain and guides while I’m in there if they need replacing soon.

    to me it does not appear stretched. you would see more polished/clean metal exposed on the plunger. I could be wrong though. Waiting for more experienced ppl to chime in.

    Does the timing chain rattle or cause any issues with how the truck runs?
    If not and it was mine I'd probably leave it alone. I dont think these trucks are known for them to fail very much.

    I think that plunger only pops out fully from oil pressure when the truck is running. Maybe someone with more mechanic experience will chime in soon.
