I'd want some very thorough and clear pics of the frame before I'd consider it.

Buy a rotted truck and buying a frame and doing a full refresh would cost about the same...

 

Beautiful truck. Whoa $37K USDA for a 10 year old truck with low miles. That's like 1.2 million CDN!

 

On the other hand, $37K probably gets you a Gen 4 Tacoma SR in municipal white, with crank down windows lmfao

Hmmmm if it's spent its live in Illinois or the midwest, it def has some sort of rust I'd presume in the undercarriage/frame. I know these places like Carmax and Carvana ship all over the country though.

 

For what they are asking, I’d want a non-rust belt truck. Either way, I’m not buying it….lol

 

with 10k miles? Judging by the looks of it, it probably spent the last 10 years in a garage in Illinois or the Midwest is about it.

some people do store their cars for the winter. No it’s not z06 or an F430 but to some that could be their summer only weekend cruiser.

 

Either that or it was their winter vehicle while they stored their summa car!

For sure, I'm just thinking it maybe hit the outside at some point....but like OP said, needs to be a CA or non rustbelt truck that money.

I bought my 2016 Sport in 2015. I could got the last of the 2nd Gens but took a chance on the first year of the 3rd Gen.

Almost 10 years later and 62K miles, I still love my truck.

That is a nice looking 2nd Gen in post #1.

 

If the history records are to be believed, the last oil change was at 2400 miles in 2017. I would be more concerned with a gummed up fuel system than anything. Being IL truck would still have to have a close inspection.

 

Just got an email from Carmax…..

Someone got cold feet or saw something they didn’t like…
