Honestly this plus hammer hangers is probably the best suspension setup you can get for a Tacoma. Problem is in Canada those shocks will end up costing ~$6500 with taxes and shipping, plus ~$2200 for Deavers plus everything else (UCAs, U bolts, bump stops, labour, etc). This would easily be a $10,000 CAD upgrade here and that's without the hammer hangers. And you would still have to ship the shocks to the US and back every time they needed service.

Yeah the needle bearing tends to become an issue when you lift the front. Basically just causes vibes from the axle oscillating in the socket rather than smoother rolling. I would suggest re-booting the CV axles at the same time since you have to pull the axle out to the do it. Technically it doesn't need to be done at the same time though. You can run it for a bit and see if it's necessary. I never got the vibrations personally, but still swapped to the ECGS bushing when re-booting my axles.

Technically you can request whatever lift you want. But 2" is a nice rear lift where you can still easily use factory length shocks (no need to worry about brake lines or bump stops) but enough that you won't have to worry about it squatting with a load. Also gives some extra up travel which these trucks lack with the stock leaf springs. If you keep the front around 2" as well you will keep that slight rake from factory which is perfect for these trucks.

I guess the other thing to do is just keep an eye out for used deals and piece it all together. I picked up low mile J66 on here in spring (no pun) time. Just got a full Hammer Hanger kit last week too. Im actually selling the cross over brace if anyone is interested.
