    Afternoon Everyone,

Maybe I'm over thinking, however when I put my truck into drive or reverse initial from a stopped position and start to accelerate slowly, I hear and feel a small clicking sound either coming from my transmission or drive shaft. It reminds of if I'm taking the truck in and out of 4-wheel drive. Has anyone else experienced this? Its 2023 Tacoma only have around 27,000 miles.

    Thanks

Is it the first time you apply the brakes after you shift direction? The pads move a bit, it’s normal

Hi, yes, but this is the first time I've ever had a vehicle do this

I'm experiencing the same thing on my 2013. I've narrowed it down to coming from the drive shaft, but I'm not sure if it's a bad U-Joint or something else. Did you ever get it figured out?

Here are some videos with the click. One while driving and another from underneath rocking the truck back and forth
