I have the seat concepts and I have done 3 hours with very little discomfort. If I start to feel anything I just stand up for a bit to get relief.

Anyone run Shinko 244's? Fairly convinced I'm going to wrangle those onto my SM wheels next season. 50/50 allegedly, same design by Kenda is 60/40.

thats good. when i had it on my old green drz (klx) i had the low seat and it was a lot better then the oem but still wasnt great!

id love to have a full seat replacement but it seems to be id have to tear my oem foam off to put this seat on like i did my old seat. not the biggest annoyance thou.

I will die by the Michelin Road 6 for a general all around good commuting tire.

I had 12k on my last rear for the S1000RR, the guy I sold it to is still running it. Front had plenty of life left. Lots of grip in wet and dry, and plenty capable for spirited riding.

Just got back from my interview. Of course nailed it. I am the perfect candidate for the part time position (according to the interviewer). I am on to the next stage of background check and drug screen. He said it could take up to a month to start work but sometimes quicker. Not in a big hurry.

I know you were wishy-washy on it last week, how are you feeling about it now after the interview?

Real good actually. It will be the perfect job for me. Get me up early with a purpose. Get off at 9 am and have the rest of the day to do whatever.

Rode to work today with the new seat. It's a little taller and definitely stiffer than the 41 year old one.

Checked the 2nd one off the list!
The ZRX was one of my first goals because of what a wonderful all-rounder it is.. but I also had a craving for cruise control and a radio. Rode a Harley for the first time 2 weeks ago and wasn't impressed. Made some money things work and finally got this awesome 2011 Cross Country off marketplace for [I think] a pretty solid deal. Only has 10k miles on it, original owner, and ALL of the dealer accessories they offered.

I am now *completely* out of space for any sort of vehicles so this is my last new thing until I get a place of my own, but what a fantastic way to round out my collection for the foreseeable future.

Do not buy them, they are all cracking badly, my set included. I wish I got the kenda 270s instead.

For the money they did their purpose. But the cracks are super worrying. I'll see if I can get a photo up without going to the garage lol.

IIRC 2023, put them on new from fortnine 2024, I have kenda 760s that are from 2021 that don't look like that. I removed them to run 50:50 tires to learn street riding.

I have a buddy who puts shinkos on everything, but I'm team kenda now.

54 this morning. Sure seems like fall almost slapped me in the face. One day 90 and now the high yesterday was like 77. I should have worn a hoodie walking the dog last night.
