If I do 35s again they’ll be skinny. The only down side is they don’t look as good imo but like you said, keep it narrow for where we are

Id probably also do skinny 35s if I had 17” wheels and a choice. Save a little weight (no idea if any compared to the heavy 33s I have now) and extra cutting…

 

There is always the choice of the 34x10.5 17R which is technically a 34 skinney. That is Most likely when I'm going to be going up to for my next set of tires and I am debating whether or not to put them on before October and AOAA. they are the exact same diameter as my 285's but they will give another half more inch of clearance, and they are lighter than 35's or lighter 295's

 

how did you fit the 285/75/16??

 

I used to prefer skinny 33s, then I got bit by the wide bug lmao


I'll probably stay at 315s for a good long while, maybe mickeys next round of tire

2.5” ish lift, cmc, beat pinch weld (was not an issue but wanted to do it), fender trim (may viper cut) and SPC upper control arms.

if I had a really good shop and 0° offset wheels, I probably could have avoided the cmc. I have -12 offset wheels. The rubbing was not terrible.

Have you tried 12.5 wides?

 

Can't find anything in a 16 that's 35 other that a 315/75

 

315= 12.4” not a big enough size difference to matter..
We looked for my trac boards when we stopped, finger they’re about a foot under the mud.

Yeah, part of me regrets not going to 17s when I bought the new wheels but these weigh 18# so I'm not terribly stressed over it lol

 

Lol yea light weight 17s are expensive. I think mine are 19lbs each and were over $400 each new

 

Yeah if you want to get close to where I'm at now it's gonna be in that ballpark for a te37 or the like. What'd you go with?
