    Any reason other than boredom?

The truck won't care with either type

I have used 5w20 Mobil1 advanced fuel economy since mile 0 - I just did a oil analysis last year at around 100K miles - the engine came back with a clean bill of health. I'm a fan of oil analysis and it's not expensive.

It might not hurt to have one done.

When in doubt follow the owners manual :deadhorse:

Oil changes at the correct time, a good quality oil of the correct spec, and check your oil regularly and you should have no lubrication related failure.
