Was roaming around Walmart today and came across this. Anybody use it, opinions?

I've used it before in other vehicles...no issues. I use Pentofrost in the Tacoma since it is still rather cheap.

As long as it is the "pink stuff" and it meets manufacturers specs, you bet I would use it. Our resident OEM or nothing crew will show up soon to vehemently defend spending 3x more for "peace of mind".

But then again, what the hell do I know?

Yeah I see them in other threads and hoping this doesn't turn in to a pissing match. Just looking for opinions on members that have used it.

I’ve used SuperTech coolant in my SAABs to no ill effect, and they start getting TOASTY once you tune them.

    Should be alright.

I use the SuperTech concentrated regular green antifreeze. It has Toyota’s recommended formulation. I replace the oem coolant in all my Toyota/Lexus vehicles at 100K or earlier, like when the oem radiator went out on wife’s 07 Lexus ES350 at about 80K. I flushed out the pink stuff and and in went the green SuperTech. Did two more flushes with SuperTech before trany went out at 305K miles. Most recent flush with SuperTech was on daughter’s 20 RAV4.

I used the pink SLLC from Walmart in my 100k drain and refill. No issues.

Master mechanic in the Car Care Nut YouTube channel says that for most maintenance supplies for Toyo/Lexus, you don't have to stick with OEM so long as you use ones that meet OEM specs and that you follow the maintenance schedule. The only thing I will get from a dealership are the spark plugs.
