Leak at bell housing. 1 year post clutch replacement

    So about 10 months ago I had my clutch, flywheel, and throw out bearing replaced by a private mechanic. During the time he had the trans out, I had my third gear synchros replaced by a transmission place nearby in Sacramento. No issues until now. In the last few days this leak must have started, because I changed my engine oil a week ago and it wasn’t there. Anyway, today I took a look under my truck and notice a decently significant trans oil leak. Looks to be coming from the main seal. I am no mechanic so I’d love more insight. I have looked at past forums and read people determining the cause of similar issues to be the shifter housing gasket or cracked breather hoses above.

    If anyone’s wondering it turned out to be the slave cylinder that went and that’s clutch fluid in the photo.
