    TW Enthusiasts,

I hate that on the info panel in the gauge cluster, while the mode that shows digital speed, blanks out the speed and briefly shows the gear selected; when using sport mode shifting.

I think I saw somewhere that there is custom programming available, so this info section can be customized for owner choice of pictures or start-up presentation, and wonder if there is a part or service that can change the function described above?

You’re talking about the digital display between the tach and speedo? I was super confused at first because my truck doesn’t do what you’re describing. I must have adjusted the setting day one!
Settings (gear in the far right of the row of icons below the outside temp), pop up display, and uncheck “shift position”.
Also under settings you can adjust the options under “i drive info 1-3” to display different data of your preference.
You cannot add pictures or start up presentation to this screen however, that’s the headunit or stereo. I’m not sure when, but sometime after 2019 the option of adding a custom startup image was disabled

I am pretty sure that I do not have that option. I will have to look, but the truck is in storage till spring, so will have to wait. I don't expose that truck to any road salt. I poked around with settings enough that I will be happy, yet a little disappointed in myself, if that setting has been there all the time.

Still, the info that I am fishing for, I believe was an add on or service, to completely customize that center display?

Gotcha. We only get the options Toyota gives us in that regard unfortunately

I like to watch my gas mileage estimate go up and down!

I like having it blank, but now that i turned off the pop-up shift indicator, it is static saying "No Messages", so stupid.

Which tab are you on? There’s a blank page on the furthest left tab, where the fuel economy, digital speed and other such options are displayed. If you go all the way left to the “i” tab and down to the 5th page it should be completely blank if that’s what you’re looking for?

OK, I will try that. I had it blank, then went in and finally stopped the pop-up shift position (as you previously described) but then could not get rid of the "No Messages" Message!!!! Maybe I just lost my way back, as you say. I miss analog. Or more accurate, I like digital, as long as I have access to the code so I can make it act how I like. Or I can just let @musicisevil continually straighten me out ;) Thanks again.
