I installed two months ago. No problems, it doesn’t glitch and doesn’t lag. So far so good.

Yep, got it also for my 2014. Much improved sound with their new chip although I've changed speakers, soundproofed everything and have amp/sub amp.

I installed one of these units (Vivid13) this past weekend. While it looks fantastic, my unit has been very glitchy. Within 2 days, the physical radio button stopped responding, then the music button stopped responding. I prefer buttons and knobs vs all touch screen. I can get to the radio via drop down menus.

I Did a factory reset and the issues persist. Working w/Dasaita to resolve, so far nothing has worked. Went thru the button assignments setup menu and calibration, etc.

Dasaita has a NOVO app that I have not been able uninstall. I turned it off, but it has been pinning itself to the app shortcuts when it’s been unpinned, replacing apps that I want pinned.

The unit looks great, all the steering wheel functions/camera work properly for me. CarPlay is nice. Love that it will play most music formats from a 500gb thumb drive I located in the glove box.

This unit is going back if the issues can’t be resolved w/Dasaita. (Trying to do so within the return window)

Just my experience to date w/Dasaita, so far….

2015 Sport, drives like it just came off the dealers lot!!

    terminalvoltage,
    I too purchased a Dasaita,however,a 10.2,Android,off Amazon a week ago.
With a discounted price,$560,however added the three year Assurion Warranty,$70.
    I'm a DIY'er,so I followed the Jesse Rizo and MYKOSPRO,YouTube installation video.
So far,no issues, however, their external mike sucks.
I'll go back in and disconnect their mike, and use the Taco OEM Mike.
Hope you get your issues resolved.

Progress….I was able to get the music button assigned in the factory setup 126 calibration menu, but that darn radio assignment will not stick. These units are flexible with button programming/short cuts.

The Novo app seems to repopulate in the pinned apps if you have your unit do a full power down vs sleep when ignition is off.

setting the unit to sleep w/ignition off makes for a fast boot. I live in Maine, I don’t need one more item sipping away @ battery power come this winter. I want my truck to start vs fast boot.

Not fan of the factory mic as well.

I regret not going with one of the 10” Kenwood's.

Is there a better mic we can use? I will admit, my truck is loud inside due to the tires and I have not added sound deadened to the doors so I imagine a lot of the noise is inherent to a truck.

Yep according to most posts I have seen seems like everyone recommends a better mike. Look for the longer Dasaita thread for recommendations. I used the one the included and mounted it top left hand side if the display. Adequate but might get a better one later.

    Good morning,
I proceeded to remove the Daisata Android 10.2 from my 2015 Toyota Tacoma.
    I discoonected/removed the Dasaita Microphone.
I wanted to find out from Dasaita, should I disconnect their cheap, useless new microphone,IF ,the Dasaita auto connects to my existing OEM 2015 Tacoma microphone.
I called there "Help-Line" number,(980)207-7159,and...disconnects on an attempted ring.
    The "No Help-Line."
I go on the Dasaita Facebook Messenger and text the above question,as to disconnectiong their cheap microphone, will the original Tacoma microphone pick-up voice.
No return texts from Dasaita with a response..."Crickets."
    So far,I've disconnected Dasaita Microphone.
So,I turn key on,"make a cell call", and "Wahlaa!"
People can now hear me loud and clear.
    Problem solved,without Dasaita.

We're you able to verify in settings the Tacoma mike connection? Heck, I didn't even know we had a built in mike. On their website is a help email. They've always responded in a day or so.

Dasaita usually responded within 24hrs of questions regarding the issue I was having.

(Radio button not responding, even when going thru button assignments in factory 126 settings, could not be repaired, all other buttons could be reassigned, assigned, the radio button dead) I accessed the radio via the music drop down menu.

The radio audio quality is amongst the worst for any head unit I have heard. Football season is starting, I like to listen to local sports talk on the commute, definitely not w/this head unit. Music playback via the radio . No EQ’ing this thing to sound good. Zero bass definition, hollow mid range. Flac files ripped to a USB drive sounded marginally better.

The internal mic quality is , the external provided mic marginally better.

This unit shines w/the OEM look, excellent responsive screen & full functionality of the steering wheel controls w/their canbus harness. OEM Backup rear camera integrated nice.

CarPlay & Nav worked well for us. You get a bright responsive screen for daytime driving.

(My audio setup before the Dasaita, OEM head unit for 10 yrs, line level speaker converter to 5 channel amp, JL audio speakers and sub. OEM head unit crushes the Dasaita in terms of sound quality in my setup. I also tested the rca line level outs from the Dasaita, no improvement in quality to these ears).

    Arrowshot/motorhead310,
I own a 2015 Tacoma Quadcab V6,Base Model, with the following "Upgrades". (ED) Entune Audio Plus, (OC) TRD Off-Road Extra Value Package, (TW) V6 Tow Package.
I removed my Dasaita Deck, disconnected "the cheap Dasaita Microphone",re-installed the Dasaita Deck.I proceeded to make a cellphone call inside my Tacoma with the "OEM Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone-Call System",NOT knowing IF it would continue to work, and Walaa! It worked!! The callers could hear me crystal clear.I could hear callers crystal clear.
My suggestion,IF you have "OEM Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone-Call System" inside your Taco, continue to use it rather than hooking up the Dasaita Microphone.
    Enjoying my New Dasaita Upgrade.

Can you elaborate a little more on the OEM Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone-Call System? I have the Android 13 in my truck and am using the mic from the unit. It's better then the external mic but not the same as the oem.
