    Need some help here….

Truck died on the highway yesterday. Would start no problem but immediately dies/stalls out. Got towed to my work where my tools are and tried to diagnose. No codes originally. Seemed like the fuel pump resistor from what I read so tested that and it was out of spec and replaced it. Problem persisted. Now I’m getting p0351-p0356 (no 55) codes. Coil pack are new and connections look good. The grounds for those look good as well. When it starts then dirs I get a fuel smell. Swapped out the fueling related relays one by one with a new one and no change. All fueling and ignition fuses are good. Any ideas what to check?

UPDATE: Update! Went through checking voltage at each coil and then starting the truck pulling one at a time and when I pulled the plug on the coil back passenger #5, the only one not throwing a code originally mind you, the truck continued to run and only threw a code for that coil as it was unplugged. Swapped in an old one I had saved from when I replaced them all and it seems to be fixed .

you were correct! Thank you! Started the truck unplugging coil by coil and when I pulled #5 it stayed running and only threw a code for that unplugged coil. Mind you that’s the only one that wasn’t throwing a code originally.

I swapped in one of my original coils I saved from when I replaced them and it seems to be good.
