Fan switch , 2015 Tacoma, AC light flashing and squealing noise under hood

    When I turn on the fan switch the AC light flashes and a loud squealing noise under the hood. The AC looks like it is turning .

    Sounds like either the compressor has failed or the clutch has failed.


    This post has a video clip of what a failed clutch looks like, do note if the clutch has failed you need to make sure the compressor isn't locked up before replacing the clutch.
