I installed a new genuine Toyota VSV (p/n 25860-75230) and replaced the old one this morning. I took it for a drive to warm the engine and once again the valve goes click-click, and I have some vacuum when removing the gas cap. The check engine light is still on. Does anyone know how long it should take for the error to clear and turn off the check engine light?

Manually clear it with a code reader, or disconnect the battery for some time should also clear it.....

Or pull the EFI fuse if you don't want to disconnect the battery (and loose your radio config)...

I cleared the codes today, after getting tired of seeing the check engine light. Looking over the rest of the data before clearing was interesting.

Checking the I/M readiness showed the EVAP status OK. Still, the check engine light was on and it showed the same 3 stored codes. I guess this error doesn’t self-reset when fixed.

The snapshot data showed the conditions when the check engine light came on. I was going 61 mph, the engine was turning 2312 rpm, and the outside temperature was 79 F.
