For good natural energy start your day with a B-complex vitamin and some sort of protein, i.e. granola bar or hard boiled egg.
Otherwise I was on a Monster Tea kick during these hot days.
Raspberry, Peach, and the Arnie Palmies.

I usually brew my own cold brew. But If I go for an energy drink, cran razz or Fuji apple xyience.

Loved this as a kid even though I had to buy it and drink before going home.

Re Monster, that's the stuff. Never forgot a few years ago making my league teammate almost pass out by chugging a can in front of him

Still going for the Lemonade/tea monster or the rockstar lemonade or orangeade. Whatever I can get my hands on. Got ripped off for a case on Amazon so I don't buy in bulk anymore.

Anyone remember the Rockstar Pomegranate? About 10+ years ago. They were my favorite, then they suddenly discontinued them. I see them pop up on ebay and the sort - overpriced and who knows how they taste after 10 years. Now, I’ll have a Red Bull on long drives, rarely otherwise.

Old school, coffee from a coffee pot. Vitamin B12 if needed. Those drinks are hazardous to your health. Drove a kid to work for a couple years who sucked them up. He was a trembling mess.

I don’t drink that shit. And I don’t get it, the largest group that consumes them is the under 35 group. When I and my friends were younger we had tons of energy, definitely didn’t need any energy drinks. I fear our youth who have become addicted to energy drinks are going to suffer consequences as they get older. Hope I’m wrong, time will tell.

Well yes, you can overdo sugar. I don't think that's a controversial statement. And you can overdo caffiene. Everyone's body reacts differently.

Probably pointless to suggest watching Dr. Berg's YouTube videos here lol Though they are great!

I have cut back severely after a kidney stone and would recommend the same to those who are drinking multiple a day.

One kidney stone and one visit to the ER will likely turn the light on. Most pain in my life. Dehydration is a massive factor in kidney stone formation.

Mostly home made iced tea. But occasionally an Aspire or Celsius. My wife likes Celsius better, I like Aspire, but I'll drink whatever is in the fridge. They aren't nearly as potent as some of the others. I don't really think of them as energy drinks. Just an alternative to tea or Coke. A lot of the Health Food stores locally sell Celsius, Aspire can be hard to find. I'm not sure either qualifies as healthy. Maybe less unhealthy.

Amazon.com: CELSIUS Sparkling Strawberry Guava, Functional Essential Energy Drink 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 12)

    Amazon.com : aspire drinks

I try to avoid Red Bull or Monster unless I really need to be alert. I will occasionally drink one when on long road trips. I can really feel the difference. I'm thinking that if I used them regularly I'd build up a tolerance and they wouldn't be as effective. I like several of the Monster flavors better but most come in a 16oz can which is too much. They are starting to sell some 12 oz cans. Red Bull comes in 8oz or 12 oz. cans which are the right size. Some of the newer flavors are pretty good.

I only buy the 0 sugar versions.

Black coffee or matcha tea are my energy drinks.

Recommend avoiding all food and drink with chemicals and minimize your sugar intake.

My favorite is homemade chicken soup.

I know this may seem strange. No sugar or caffeine, how can this be?

Can’t say I know for sure.

Costco rotisserie chickens. Strip the meat then pressure cook the bones for the real magic.

Every time I eat that stuff, I walk away feeling energized.

    Not sure why.

I don't drink them more than three or four times a month, but it can be a nice kick to get through some Friday reports or a long day on the MTB trails.

Red Bull Sugar Free all day, I can't handle sugar since having Lyme.

Otherwise, coffee and green tea are usually more than enough. That and a mostly whole food, plant based diet.
