Went to close the AC vent yesterday, and the top vane didn't move with the lower 2. Not sure if it is broken or something slipped off. Anyone else have this happen? I'm the only one that drives it, and I didn't hear or feel anything break.

Which AC vent? They can be very easy to get to. Particularly the center two, next easiest would be the driver's and the hardest is the passenger side.

    It's the drivers side vent.

Remove the center trip plate and then the driver's side trim plate. There are plenty of videos on removing the center one, the driver's is just a bit more involved as a trim panel needs to be pulled out and the whole bezel around the combo meter comes out. Once loose just slide it towards the driver's door - might want to lower and extend the steering wheel to the rear.

To get you started just put your fingers along the right-hand side of the center trim, on the other side of the center right vent and pull to the rear - it pops right out. No trim tool needed. Same with the driver's side, fingers to the left of the driver's side vent and pull rearward.

Upon installation make sure all the red clips are attached to the trim pieces and not the dash. If any red show on the dash remove them and install on the trim.
